SOL 3D scanner scans objects between 25 and 170 mm in diameter and height.

In general, surfaces that are best to 3D scan are matte, opaque, and light in colour. And the easiest shapes are asymmetrical with abundant scan alignment features. Here is a small collection of objects whose surfaces and shapes are ideal for 3D scanning with SOL 3D scanner.

Included to get you started is Dave the duck, 45 mm tall and 56 mm diameter.

Easy to use software included

SOL 3D scanner revolutionizes 3D scanning with its software bundle: ‘SOL Creator’ for effortless scanning and ‘SOL Viewer’ for inspection and file export. With automated calibration and meshing, SOL Creator simplifies the scanning process, ensuring seamless compatibility between the scanner and turntable. Scanning occurs in multiple passes, optimizing texture, and the ‘Turbo’ option doubles scanning speed for efficiency. After scanning, the meshing process combines data into a detailed 3D model.

In the post-scanning stage, SOL Viewer allows a thorough inspection of the 3D model in various renderings. Users can export the files to third-party 3D software for detailed editing, comparison, measurement, or 3D printing. This seamless integration empowers users to refine their scanned objects with precision and creativity.

Moreover, SOL software is specifically designed for Windows, ensuring a user-friendly experience for Windows users. This compatibility enhances accessibility and efficiency, making SOL 3D scanner an ideal choice for a wide range of creative projects. Experience the future of 3D scanning with SOL: where innovation meets simplicity, transforming your ideas into high-quality digital models effortlessly.
